The translator, Dr. Mufti A. H. Usmani, retired professor of English, has devoted his time and skills to the propagation of Islam. He was the founding president of the Muslim Society of Memphis, has been actively involved in Islamic work and has served locally and nationally on various committees and organizations. He has authored Islamic Perspectives: Khutabat and published articles, given lectures and talks, and spoken on TV and radio about Islam and Muslims.
